Local Issues

Will we have a new river crossing in the constituency and if so when and where will it be built.  The CPA say we need it and it shoud be built as soon as possible.

With the new Cross rail link coming to Abbey Wood how can we take advantage of the new opportunites that come with it. CPA say we need to set aside space for new commerce and industry to create jobs for young people

Now there are vast amounts of new flats being built in the constituency we need the resources to develop community links. CPA say we need a new community centre.

Local shopping facilities
Central to my commitment in the Constituency of Erith and Thamesmead is to create a better local shopping environment. I accept that some of the bigger brand names need to be represented in Bexley Town Centre.... I am not at ease with the coffee culture Highs Street model and will work impartially with other politicians and our own volunteers to improve services offered in your neighbourhoods...

Listening to you
Tom Brake is a hard working local MP on behalf of the Liberal Democrats and for the moment I am content to work with him on burning issues that affect you, our local neighbours...

Working with our pastoral care centres
We do not support Christians only. Much is said about Britain as a multi cultural nation. Please do not misunderstand me. All residents (faith and non-faith groups) should live in harmony as peaceful neighbours. By the same token, however, and according to ancient British tradition, we are a Christian Nation where all minorities are respected.
